Marvel Studios inaugurera l’année 2024 le 10 janvier avec la série Echo, série dérivée d’Hawkeye qui explorera le passé de Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox) ainsi que sa relation complexe avec le Caïd (Vincent D’Onofrio) en particulier après les évènements d’Hawkeye. Les cinq épisodes d’Echo seront disponibles d’une traite le 10 janvier sur HULU et Disney+ d’ailleurs, la série inaugurera le nouveau label Marvel Spotlight qui offrira des contenus plus matures et plus indépendants.
Avis plutôt positifs pour les premiers épisodes d’Echo
Un mois avant son lancement, des projections des premiers épisodes ont été organisées aux États-Unis et à Londres pour la presse spécialisée. Pour la plupart, Echo dénote par son ton mature avec des scènes d’action musclées notamment celles avec Daredevil (Charlie Cox). La prestation d’Alaqua Cox a également été saluée même si certaines décisions créatives laissent dubitatifs certains critiques.
