L’adaptation en prises de vues réelles de Vaiana, La Légende du Bout du Monde sort dans moins de deux semaines au cinéma et il est pour le moment difficile d’entrevoir le moindre engouement car ce projet, qui on le rappelle, sort dix ans à peine après le film d’animation original, n’a offert jusqu’à présent que de simples images calquées sur le film de 2016 sans une once d’originalité.
Les tubes originaux et un inédit pour ce remake
En attendant d’établir un avis définitif sur le film, nous pouvons néanmoins en avoir un avant-goût avec la bande originale qui sort ce vendredi 26 juin 2026 sur toutes les plateformes musicales.
Cette bande originale réunit Lin-Manuel Miranda aux paroles, Mark Mancina à la musique et Opetaia Foa’i pour les musiques locales et aux chœurs. Nous y retrouvons toutes les chansons cultes et une inédite, « Along the Way », un trio formé par Catherine Laga’aia, l’interprète de Vaiana, Auli’i Cravalho, sa voix originale depuis dix ans et productrice du film et Dwayne Johnson qui incarne Maui dans les deux versions.

Le casting vocal français de Vaiana révélé
La bande originale est également disponible en français et nous pouvons découvrir les noms des interprètes vocales français. Tout d’abord, nous apprenons que Vaiana est interprétée par Hannah Vaubien qui succède à Cerise Calixte et reprend entre autres les titres phares « Le Bleu Lumière » et « Je suis Vaiana ». David Krüger qui est la voix française régulière de Dwayne Johnson dans ses films (ainsi que Chris Pratt et Shemar Moore pour ne citer qu’eux) prête sa voix à Maui en lieu et place d’Anthony Kavanagh dans les films animés. Seul Adrien Antoine (voix française de Chris Hemsworth, Henry Cavill ou encore Sam Worthington) rempile dans le rôle du crabe géant Tamatoa – tout comme Jemaine Clement en anglais – et rechante donc « Bling-Bling ». Pour la chanson « Along the Way » traduite ici en « Quand tu Voyages », Cerise Calixte fait son retour à l’instar d’Auli’i Cravalho pour ce morceau qu’elle interprète avec Hannah Vaubien et David Krüger.
